Scripture Focus
Nehemiah 9:27 · KJV
(27) Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
Devotional Message
Meditate On The Message
A child of God can get into the hands of the enemy when he or she derails, and when this enemy gets in, he or she begins to attack vital or valuable areas of the life of this child of God. However, whenever this child of God realizes his or her errors and desires to be delivered, God is always quick to save. Understand that God can only deliver someone in the earthly realm by using a human vessel. The first vessel God tries to use is the victim but unfortunately, the victim at this point by virtue of disobedience has demoted himself or herself to be below the enemy. The next thing God does is to seek out another, this second person becomes a saviour. Saviours are meant to be stronger than the ones they must save, this makes them perfect for the task. One of the most Satanic messages flying around is that you don't need pastors for God to answer your prayers. You must know that in certain situations, your enemy could be so strong that your prayers would fail to work. This happens especially in cases where the victim is a legal captive. A legal captive would totally lack the required power needed to be free, this power must come from a saviour. What have you battled with for so long? Who has God sent over your life as a saviour? A saviour would normally be your man or woman of God. Who is this person, and how much of your battles is he or she aware of? A saviour can't fight for you in the name of the Lord except he or she knows your battles. Stop fighting battles greater than your strength, engage your man or woman of God.
