Devotional Message

Meditate On The Message

The scripture above teaches that divine rulership becomes possible when the Lord sends the rod of His strength from Zion. The scripture above tells us that divine ruler ship will only be possible after the Lord sends the rod of His strength from Zion. This rod, belongs to God Himself and not to any man; and by the coming of this rod, man can rule over his enemies.

You can never wield power or dominion over your enemies except you receive the rod of God from heaven. In other to dominate, you receive the rod and not the staff; the staff serves the purpose of guidance, but the rod is an instrument for correction. Look at what the bible says about the rod towards you below: Psa 23:4 (4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

In the scripture above, the rod becomes a comforter when you pass through the valley of the shadow of death. Look at what the rod does when you commit iniquity below: 2Sa 7:14-15 (14) I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: (15) But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

In the above, when you commit iniquity, He chastens you but never casts you away. And for what the rod does to the enemies, check below: Rev 19:15 (15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. You notice that the rod becomes different things at different times and to different persons.

This rod that comforts is none other but the "Comforter" who is the "Holy Spirit". Without Him, ruler ship can not be possible; He empowers us to wield and exercise power over every darkness. He elects us as kings and queens spiritually.

People will notice you, your light will shine so bright, and the glory of God will rise upon you in Jesus name!
