Deliverance from a strong man
I gave my life to Christ on the first day of a 3-day encounter service at Manifest Life Church and requested to meet with Papa after the same service. We spoke briefly and he prayed for me again. At night, while alone in my room, a tall dark man wearing only something like a small wrapper on his waste appeared physically and shouted at me for giving my life to another God claiming that I was covenanted to him to serve him forever. Before I could react to the shock, he started flogging me mercilessly. I screamed all through out of pain as he flogged me and after he was done flogging me, he warned me never to return to that place (Manifest Life Church) again, threatening to deal ruthlessly with me if I did. After the ordeal, I ran out to meet my neighbors but found out that nobody heard my screams.
On the second night of the meeting, I met with papa, lamenting over my ordeal and he started ministering prophetically to me. He accurately told me details about my father, his financial state, the fact that he ran away from the village and went to the city to become a strong Christian and presently a deacon in church. He also saw that we hadn't been to the village for once from when I was born. He then explained that my father was chosen to continue serving a powerful deity that our family served but gave his life to Christ and ran away to the city. However, the deity was still after my father and was the very reason for all his misfortunes. He then said that he had spoken to God and that God had sent an angel to stay with me and that if the demon showed up again, the angel would destroy him.
Later that night, the same spirit appeared and started fuming that I returned to the church he warned me never to attend again. However, as he started coming close, someone appeared between us and warned him to back off but the demon adamantly tried attacking the man only to be casually lifted by the man and broken into two like a stick. They both disappeared after that.
I greatly appreciate God for His mighty power in this church. Thank God for coming through for me.
