Faith and Evidence — Heb 11:1

God had something to say concerning most of us like He promised in the early hours of that day. we remind ourselves once again of God's promise for our lives, which is, "Divine Visitation", and His promise for our lives which is, "Supernatural results". When you think of the word, 'results' in a spiritual context, you also think of the word, 'evidence' or 'proof'. From the scripture above, supernatural evidence is powered by 'faith'.

I remind us of the difference between the word, 'belief' and the word, 'faith'. To believe means to agree to a report without being exposed to contrary facts. Like, when we say that God is good, and everything about life seems perfect for us; nothing challenges that statement that God is good, and as such, we have no reason to doubt His goodness.

We're said to believe God when what we've heard about Him proves to be factual in every area of our life. In faith however, we see a kind of agreement with God's word or promises that seems to be opposed by current facts and events around us. For instance, when we say that we're the head and not the tail, yet, everything about life shows us to be lower than everyone around us.

Faith is that kind of belief that is challenged by present facts. When life presents outcomes different from what God has said about you but you still agree with what God has said, then what you have is 'faith'. When life presents outcomes in support of what God has said about you and you agree with what God has said, then what you have is 'belief'.

So, we discover that the current situations around us determine whether what we have is 'belief' or 'faith'. In the realm of the spirit, evidence is triggered by negative circumstances. The more hopeless a situation is, the more it disagrees with what God has said about you; and the more it gives opportunity for the mighty power of God to be seen.

Get ready for evidence, get ready for proofs, get ready for results.
