Prayer and Divine Response — Ecc 7:8

I have seen and acknowledged once again the tremendous power that springs up from prayer. When God commissioned this covenant walk after I presented it to Him, I established a covenant with Him that every committed believer must receive at least a testimony regularly. If this isn't happening to you, then something is not right.

The covenant here is the BETTER covenant and you must talk to me if you notice that what happens in the lives of others here doesn't happen in yours. The scripture above shows that everything is designed to end in a better way than it started. This is the natural design and affects all areas of life, both the seen and the unseen.

Even the natural laws of growth communicates this fact to us. Take a look at your life right recount your circumstances as at this time in an earlier season. Are you better of now than then?

Don't look at the specifics, be generic in your analysis. Do you have a net forward or backward movement? At one season of my life, my life gradually started slipping downwards.

I was extremely comfortable and wealthy at that time so, it was difficult to notice that I was going down. This happened continuously without my notice until I used the remaining funds I had to build our church. Things became very hard after that and I saw myself gradually sliding into oblivion, but I erroneously believed that I was going through a wilderness experience.

I concluded without even bothering consulting God on this. As that difficult season deepened, things had reached a very critical point and it was clear that something had to be done. The situation was way beyond what could be a wilderness experience.

I had to approach God in prayer, and the first night I did, I saw terrible things. I had to wage a very fierce spiritual war for 3 full weeks and I spent a whole lot of time in the spirit realm, contending and confronting so many things that had occupied my space until the coast became clear. After that period of prayer, I had an encounter and a young looking boy came to me in spirit asking for my help with delivering him from principal demons but I declined.

The boy was surprised and said it looked like I didn't know the elevation that came my way after the 3 weeks I prayed, and asked me to follow him to where the demons were. As we got closer, I recognized those demons as very highly placed evil spirits that I had unsuccessfully confronted in the past, but immediately we got close, they all bowed down and left because of my presence. After that encounter, I began to notice increased power, revelation, authority, testimonies, miracles and breakthroughs.

Life for the first time has maintained an upward movement since then. The greatest lesson I learnt was, "When life takes a downward turn, consult God and understand the roots". Most of the time, a downward turn shows that something is not right.

The bible already says our paths must shine brighter and brighter till perfection comes. refuse the evil and choose the good in Jesus mighty name.
