Revelation and Discernment — Zechariah 5:10

The most interesting part of the above passage is the phrase, "the angel that talked with me". Zechariah had reached a point of enjoying a two-way communication with an angel of God. Angels were used to deliver divine messages to God's people all through the Bible. Their operations wasn't limited to the old testament, they equally continued with this ministry in the new testament. The visions of John in the book of Revelation had a unique angel interacting steadily with him towards the end; an angel of God instructed Philip to undertake a journey along a specific route in preparation for a chance encounter with the Ethiopian Eunuch; from the time Mary conceived, Jacob was always visited and instructed by an angel. The list is endless. Angels are fellow servants (Revelation 19:10), and are as such, always around on Earth. They understand the workings of God more than we do (Job 4:17-19), therefore, a regular interaction with them positions us for a greater walk and work with God. Angels can be seen through visions and trances, and as a result of this, people who hardly function in visions and trances struggle to experience this beautiful fellowship. From the day I began to follow God in power, I've consistently seen a particular angel of God. This angel majorly appears to deliver personal messages from God. They are mostly messages of comfort, assurance, instructions, and warnings and overall, I would say it's a beautiful experience. God always has a lot to say to you, but in most cases, we're unable to hear him. Ask God to begin to open your eyes to be able to see divine messengers sent to you. May you begin to enjoy angelic help, in Jesus' mighty name!
