God speaks concerning His people at both individual and corporate levels, and His words call us to faith and obedience. the scripture above, do you realize that verse 37 didn't say, ".nothing is impossible", but it said, ".nothing shall be impossible"? What's the difference, you might wonder? God will show us; now take a look at this below: (Nothing is impossible) - Implies that at all points and in all situations, everything is possible and easy for God.
This means that if you desire a miracle from God, at each point in time, getting that miracle done for you is always easy for God. (Nothing shall be impossible) - Implies that God may be unable to do "certain things" now but would always be able to do them at some point in time. It's surprising that the second definition represents what the bible actually said. But, isn't God all-powerful and all-mighty again?
Take a look at the scripture below: Matthew 9:8 (8) But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. The above shows that God has given His power to men. All the power that would ever manifest among us already exists among us.
This power is however stored somewhere according to the scripture below: Ephesians 3:20 (20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, This power is within the body. So, every power that would manifest among us will originate from within a human vessel. Therefore, if God doesn't find a human vessel with power sufficient enough to address a need, that need wouldn't be solved.
This is why the verse above used the phrase, "according to the power"; another way of putting this is, "within the limits of the power". However, even when this power is great enough to address a need, another principle comes to play which is the principle of faith. Look at this below: Matthew 9:29 (29) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
The verse that talked about the power said, "according to the power"; and the verse above which talks about faith said, "according to your faith". So, the miracle can be transmitted within the limits of available power but would only be received within the limits of available faith. Every miracle begins with a promise of God which when received and expressed by faith becomes a reality.
This is the process that turns the impossible into the possible. One major thing you will notice about what we explained above is that time would be a factor towards the impossible becoming possible. This is why the word, "shall" was used in Luke 1:37.
God's power which is at work within us is about turning your life around if you have faith. Get ready to be visited in the name of Jesus Christ.
