(9) For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; (10) Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
Devotional Message

Meditate On The Message

By that addition, we now run with the atmosphere titled, THE season of LAUGHTER AND SUPERNATURAL ENFORCEMENT. Terrible and unwanted things reflect oppositions to the will and plans of God, and these things happen when no one enforces God's will on the earth realm. Know that no matter the plans God might have for man, God's plans and will would only be enforced by and through man.

Take note of the following points from our focal scripture: (1). Serving God in spirit and perfection never meant Paul never needed to pray. (2). The needed prayers were ceaseless prayers. (3).

By using the phrase, "I make mention", we see that the prayers involved conscious talking and mentioning. (4). The prayers were "request making prayers". (5). Paul knew that God wanted him to have a prosperous journey to the Romans, but still had to present it in the form of a "request making prayer".

God might make a promise towards His child but the same promise fails to come to pass. As a matter of fact, in reality, we see the opposite of God's promises happening in the lives of Christians most of the time. Why?

Each time God makes a promise, He highlights His will and an intention to do in the life of an individual; this intention would in turn be enforced by the individual through consistent and request making prayers. Every prophetic word shows the direction of God's power towards enforcement. Let me explain this!

Whatever God promises demonstrates what His power when appropriated would solve at that time and period. If God for instance promises a ministerial expansion in a particular year, it means that God's power among us would be most efficient in materializing ministerial expansion if put to use at that time. This power can only be put to use through prayers that involve, "mentioning".

The "mentioning" type of prayer is the kind of prayer that involves addressing circumstances and situations by name as though they were able to listen. It's both authoritative and repetitive. Authoritative in the sense that it involves bold talking, confessions and declarations; and repetitive in that it's done consistently and ceaselessly until there's a result.

We must begin to ceaselessly call each situation in our life by name and command it to produce ceaseless and all round laughter. Finally, you might want to ask this; If this is so, why then do Christians not receive answers when they pray ceaselessly about something. Note like I said earlier, that God will not be moved to do what He has not promised at any time and period.

The covenant walk of the church is a spiritual environment that brings all believers under the same anointing, influence and authority daily. Every morning, we get to God's presence and discover the release for the day; and you in turn as a believer, makes daily confessions and prayers according to what God is releasing for that day. Therefore, no matter what God shows me, you will have no result along that line unless you engage in prayers and confessions according to God's instruction towards us.

May you receive grace to enforce God's will for your life in Jesus mighty name!
