Pause And Become Present
Pause, breathe slowly and ask the Holy Spirit to help you receive and apply God’s Word.
Isa 61:7 · KJV
(7) For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Meditate On The Message
The double portion is a scriptural prescription for a cheated child/servant of God. The bible for instance says that when a thief steals property kept in a neighbor's custody and gets caught, he's made to repay double for the theft. The bible equally says that when the children of Israel sinned against God and cheated on Him with other gods, He rendered unto them double for their sins.
Additionally in the verse above, God promised to restore a double for the shame His people encountered. Notice additionally that when God restored double for the shame underwent, He capped it up with everlasting joy for His people. Wherever the double portion is seen, great joy is equally seen.
God isn't only interested in wiping off your shame with a double blessing, He is also interested in filling your life with unimaginable joy, joy that will so make you forget all the travails, sorrow, and shame you passed through. The Lord will also remove confusion from you and give you peace.

Pray With Faith
- Lord I thank you for rendering the double portion to me.
- Lord I thank you for giving me everlasting joy.
I'm restored, I receive the double portion, I have the greater joy!
